Haru Concept will be hosting Frank Gil & hometown educator Giancarlo Burgos in jam packed cutting class which will introduce fundamental scissor techniques and advanced techniques provided by Frank and his renowned skill set.

Frank Gil is a hair cutter based in Los Angeles. With over 10 years of experience, Gil spent the first half of his career at Vidal Sassoon, where he gained a strong foundation for his craft and a love for education. During his time there, Frank joined the Sassoon creative team as an assistant creative director where he lead classes, trained staff and contributed with his unique approach. Since going solo in 2020, Frank has been a staple in the LA hair scene, with his work featured in Vogue and WWD, most recently on HBO hit “I Love LA.”

He is excited to embark on MANOS, his newest endeavor, which will serve as a home base where he can cultivate a high standard of hair design within the community. Additionally, Frank is excited to take on the new role as House of Sassoons ambassador where he will be teaching advanced cutting and creative courses. 

For Gil, each haircut offers a new perspective, taking the opportunity to translate how the client is feeling, guided by conversations. Precision haircutting is the core of his work, but hairlines and growth patterns dictate the details. 

Day 1: I will be presenting two models alongside Berg, from my newest collection POESIA, discussing the looks, the approach and the inspiration behind the collection.

Day 2:  We will be cutting hair together, interpreting one of the haircuts from POESIA. Must provide your own model.
